What are Submission Websites & their correlation to Search Engines? |
|
|
This week during our testing, we found 2
websites, "Ineedhits" and "SubnitExpress", that changed their free
website submission procedures. Both of them virtually locked
us out, keeping us from testing their so called free services.
"They" are the ones that promote themselves as a free search engine
submission service, not us. The whole idea behind this website
and the service we provide to everyone, is to "test" all of the
websites that claim to offer these free services. As a result
we were forced to take them off our list of top 10 sites. Our
concern here is this: Is their "free" service, a direct correlation
and reflection of the "pay for services" they offer?? We
understand that they want you to use their "pay" services.
However, in our opinion, if this is the manner in which they treat
you, we suspect that you'll get the same treatment with their paid
services. We are not going to use their paid subscription
services, after all we are here to test only their free services.
If they want to give us free pay services for us to test, yeah, no
problem. Additionally, in return, we give them free
advertizing on this website. If we cant test their free
submission software, we can't very well rate it. This weeks new list of the top free Submission Websites: here |
Simply put, Submission Websites are used to increase a website’s rankings or “search-ability” via Internet Search Engines. Search Engines are software programs designed to help us "find" what we are looking for on the internet. All browsers, Internet Explorer, AOL, Netscape and all others, have built in search boxes where you would type what are termed as "keywords" and then click search or something very similar. For example if you are looking for aquarium driftwood, then you type those words in the text box and click "search". The search engine will do all the work for you and display in order of "rankings" ALL of the websites that correspond to the keywords you typed in. You may get hundreds, but more likely you will get hundreds of thousands of websites. I did a search on the example above, aquarium driftwood, and the search engine came back with 387,000 apparently related websites. So, if you own a website, why would you want to use or pay for Submission Website services? Exactly what are “website rankings" ? Who are the best FREE Submission Services? Click here |
